A new Squidoo lens on using your smart phone for photos.
Yes, it is only a minor thing but hell I have fun with it!
That is, silly fun and some quite arty works, if I do say so myself. Click on the pic to see the article.

RedBubble is a wonderful site for people looking for or making art. Here you can find photography, fine arts, digital artworks as well as t-shirts, hoodies, calendars, stickers…and RB also has a few books out.
One of the groups that I run on RB has just had a new round of features.
(Click on the name or image to see.)
Apart from a swathe of featured images their are others to browse through.
I have also been fortunate enough to have been featured recently in the Cityscapes and City Skylines Group with this picture:
Further to this, I will be featuring a few favourite works on this blog from other artists at RedBubble so that all can see what wonderful works they truly are.
More anon.

I feel something inside that urges me on to find a new depth to photography. It is not conscious yet, but I can think of musical equivilents, Uillean pipes, Aeolina harps, a tight drum beating out rhythms not quite repetetive but not quite random. Visual cues are mist, a sudden glance disappearing but leaving its imprint on the eye, corner-of-the-eye movement. The smell of cedarwood.
It’s a meditation and I hope to somehow find these photos and when I do I will be a hunter.
This is what I’m thinking, anyway.
It’s a beautiful rainy day so I think that I shall take my camera for a walk. Rain is the photographer’s best friend, in my opinion; the mood it creates, the shine and the overall diffuse light of a cloudy day are wonderful, and if the sun comes out then the light contrasts are fantastic!
